Monk can show you. Currently, he is trying to extract info from our hard drive on our desk top. It finally died. I believe the neopets did it. They seem all innocent, but don't tick them off-lol.
Hey that's a good picture, Audra. Don't feel bad I never figured out the whole "how to get a picture on your profile" thing either!
Audra,
1. Sign up for a Flickr account. If you don't have a "Yahoo! ID," don't worry; just follow the instructions on the site.
2. Once you've signed up and signed on (note: you must be signed on to do what you're about to), save the pix you want to Flickr, following the instructions on the site. (It's pretty easy.)
3. While on your Flickr photo page, click on the picture you want to include, then click on "all sizes" in the menu above the pic. Select either the square or the thumbnail size (you may have to play with this a bit.) Once you're there, use option 1 ("grab the photo's URL") to get a copy of the picture's address for use on your Blogger profile (either right click a select copy once the address is highlighted, or press CTRL-C).
Monk's instructions, Part 2:
4. Now go to your Blogger dashboard page. Click on "Edit Profile."
5. Scroll down until you see "photograph" and right below it, "Photo URL." Paste your pic's address here (or hit CTRL-V)
6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "save profile."
7. Now go back out to your Blogger dashboard page, open your blog, click on "status" in the second line of the upper menu choices.
8. You'll see a choice that says, "Republish entire blog." Click it. It may take a few seconds for your blog to republish, but you should now have the pic you want showing in your blog's profile. Call me if you have any trouble.
